I was planning on building a boost gauge for mine, but got distracted.. That was 6 years ago!
I've got the electronicy bit sorted, just need to re-code the microcontroller to measure a positive pressure, and not a decreasing atmospheric pressure / altitude as was the original rocketry spec.. Maybe one day, I'll actually cut the dash and fit it! ... ,-------, .. I [__][_]|__ .. I __ |"_|"__| .. "(o)====(o)" ^^_-^-_^-^_^^^^^--^^^^ PAUL G7ALW 14.200 USB 26FB458 / 27.275 SSB |

Why not fit a Scangauge or Ultragauge? They both show turbo boost and am assuming this is what you are after. I have a Scangauge in my 2.2 Defender and an Ultragauge in my 2.4 Transit. They are set for PSI boost.
They are useful as my Transit occasionally either over boosts causing a malfunction or loses boost. Switching off and clearing the codes fixes the problem until it occurs again but it would be a pain without the Ultragauge. |
