Turbo boost gauge
HI,
as anyone fitted a turbo boos t guage to a TDci? Interested to see where the pressure sensor was fited etc... I am looking to fit a en electric gauge, range 0-2bar (VDO) .... thanks for any info..

I was planning on building a boost gauge for mine, but got distracted.. That was 6 years ago!
I've got the electronicy bit sorted, just need to re-code the microcontroller to measure a positive pressure, and not a decreasing atmospheric pressure / altitude as was the original rocketry spec..
Maybe one day, I'll actually cut the dash and fit it! ... ,-------,

Why not fit a Scangauge or Ultragauge? They both show turbo boost and am assuming this is what you are after. I have a Scangauge in my 2.2 Defender and an Ultragauge in my 2.4 Transit. They are set for PSI boost.

They are useful as my Transit occasionally either over boosts causing a malfunction or loses boost. Switching off and clearing the codes fixes the problem until it occurs again but it would be a pain without the Ultragauge.
