JLR's trademark app.
I wonder how JLR's legal action is going in regard to trademarking the boxy Defender shape - to stop Ineos in their tracks - given the new Suzuki Jimny that is just weeks away? Whistle

They shouldnt waste their time, New ones not going to be anything like the defender nor the DC100.

That said unless they travel back in time to the 80's and take Daihatsu to court, they really have missed the boat on Boxy.

<sarcasm>

Shorten the bonnet, put a suspension lift and beefy rear crossmember on an Evoque. Job Done congratulations JLR.

United Kingdom 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black
The new 2018 Jimny is rumoured to be priced between 13K and 15K. The four wheel drive version will also come with a low range gearbox. I'll certainly pop into my local Suzuki dealer and have a look when it arrives in the showrooms. Defender 90XS SW

You and me, both. As I put on the other thread, you could have TWO Jimnys for the price of one new Defender...with some considerable change left over!
