Nugget stuff intake and LR RAI - help
I have purchased a Nugget Stuff sealed air intake system but have an issue
I have a LR RAI and on trying to refit it to the nugget intake on the wing have just noticed the bottom clips of the LR RAI can now not clip over as the nugget intake is too shallow.

What has others done - I can see no option but to cut the feet/clips off the LR intake (one i can leave 5mm the other will have to be cut off) and just sikaflex the intake to the wing, obviously it is still help in place by the upper two bolts

Advise would be appreciated
Ta

i cut 2-3mm or so off the feet on the metal clip of the RAI, heated them up and then fitted it so they melted down into the nugget box. been like that for 19mths no and no probs. its still sikaflexed to death Cheers

Thanks for your reply, Landy still on the drive with no RAI re-attached, going to finish it off today and cut the tangs down so it clips over by about 7mm (cutting off about 10mm)
I will have to attack the nugget plastic with a dremel to provide sufficient depth to receive the clip, the front one I will need more trimmed than the rear as the clip lines up with a rib

Once all done gona call up to Dia Walters Arena and have a play in the mud and water

dremel is one way, heating it up and letting them melt their own path also works very well. Cheers

We are always out single vehicle so I am quite risk averse near extreme terrain or wading. Always 3 children with us too so not planning to get stranded if I can avoid it! 1951 80" S1 2.0
