Hi there.
My last question before to go... I have a doubt about were is more easy to tap the high beam head light cable to connect the roof rack auxiliary beams. Any thoughts? I picked it up from behind the headllight as it's an easy place to get to the wiring. From there you can run a wire to the battery box and fit the relays in there. To get the wires to the dash, go out through the battery box and then up by the seat, then under the carpet and pull it up the dash using a piece of wire.
Keeps the buldhead water tight. Hope that helps. Merlin |

Scotch locks are the devil's spawn - don't use them!
I own a mobile communications company I wouldn't let them on my premises. 2009 110 XS 1984 V8 90 CSW 1981 S3 Airportable 1981 101 GS www.landrover-club.com |

They really aren't...but it's a really common (mainly on LR forums) miss conception! I would say you shouldn't use them in really harsh external environments with no protection...and I wouldn't run huge voltages through them. Also there are other ways to join wires But 12 years on and those I've used is fine Mike |

My preference is to tap the Blue/White wire from the back of the Dip/Main Beam Switch.
Also convenient, if you're using a dash mounted switch to isolate the driving lamps/roof rack lights, as you can easily put the switch in the trigger wire. . Paul. 1989 Arles Blue 2.5TD 110 Hardtop 1999 Epsom Green Discovery II 4.0 V8i 'XS' |
