They can last from 10min to 10 years... its down to luck..
Only way to find out is to get a multimeter and test the amps going through the pins on the light switch socket, should be around 13-15 amps I recon but not really sure exactly. |

My record is 0 min ...
After mine burned out, the new replacement I bought (non genuine) was dead on arrival... So bought the proper one, and installed a wiring loom with relays at the same time.. This was 8 years ago, and still all good (though I must say I now have all LED lights all around). As per others...

I worred in Iran in 1978 and the Genuine Lucas parts in the green and white box were exact copies but called Rucas.
