Top day, thanks to Custom 90 Steve for organising the meet and to Daz 110 for leading us on the tracks, (showing us where not to go by getting his feet wet).
Hopefully we can do it again soon.

Nick

Yes, I would have done the same thing.
For obvious reasons they are very funny about things like that I'd have thought. No Guts, No Glory.

No probs, it was Arran's idea too which was excellent. Thumbs Up

Definitely much thanks to Daz 110 for the navigation, that was my biggest issue really.

Apologies to some of you that I didn't get the chance to chat to, especially those nearer the front.

I have some more photos I'll look through shortly. Thumbs Up No Guts, No Glory.

I think Fabio is definitely right though much earlier say 10am would be much better for a start.
More time to play with and have lunch etc then too.

Thumbs Up No Guts, No Glory.

Great day.
Thank you to Steve for organizing it and to Daz 110 for leading the way.
I do think it would be better to start at 10.
But this was the first one, next time it will be better.
It was nice to meet everyone.
Looking forward to the next one.

Regards

Fabio

Actually, the law states as a member of the public you're allowed to take pictures of anything from a PRoW. be it a tank, a building or a policeman (unless there are signs stating otherwise like outside sensitive buildings)

But if you wander up and chat to the tank/landrover/lorry crews and ask them, you can usually get some really good close up pictures, especially as it gives them chance to move any equipment or their own faces that they don't want photographed.

I'm on a forum called plain military, which is full of photographic nerds, who get some amazing pics of mil kit. There is just one range warden out there who thinks he's god and tries to stop you, but unfortunately he is in the wrong with the law.
