Ive considered selling my SVX SW recently.I bought it brand new, spent around £2000 on an uprated sound system and fitted a full width rear step/towbar.Ive only done 8000 miles and believe it or not the only time it has not been used in the dry is when I did my road trip to Paris in the bad weather between Xmas and new year. Its tucked away at work now and may not get used for a few months as my summer toys will be brought out soon and used as my transport in the milder weather. If it was the 07 90 XS 2.4TDCi I had before then I wouldnt be bothered about getting rid because I could always buy another one brand new if I missed it that much but with the SVX it is not so easily replaceable. 2009 SVX 90 Station Wagon

Still trying to negotiate but 30k is steep. Sometimes when you have something you don't appreciate it you only realise when it's gone. I have contacted Australian dealer they ave a 110 SVX see if they can export and associated costs of importing JE engineering stage 1 .ITG filter. SOLD

Mines a better bet than a 110 SVX
Will cost you a lot less than 30k as well, mine has approx £10k of extras See the for sale section You cannot teach stupid people to do clever things |

No I used to have a four year old TD5 and loved it but sold it as it fell to bits on me - it was a bad one rot wise! Now I have decided to keep the Jag and house extension money is a priority, the plan is to finish the Series 88" rebuild (had three offers over 11K when completed!) and hopefully when that is done I will have saved up enough to get a two year old one for 20K. I could take out a loan but I don't like doing things on credit so hopefully in a years time I will finally get my Defender. All good things to those that wait, one year will fly by. I have enough toys so certainly can't complain. I would like a late 2010 model though with cheaper tax! I could sell the Jag and end up with a Series 88" or wait a year and keep the Jag and end up with a Defender - makes sense to wait as I will always keep my Series 109" |
