As one of its security layers my DCPU has a GPS tracker box - one of these http://digitalcomtech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/syrus_ds.pdf was fitted by a previous owner and I've maintained the subscription. Its been fine for almost a year but now has stopped working and, according to the online logs, was last contactable at 13:32 on July 11th, when it correctly reported its location as my works car park.
I'd like to fix it, but so far I've not been able to find it ![]() Any ideas as to other likely hiding places? |

I believe that above the headlining is usually the first place that the thieves look, since this is where the many trackers are fitted.

Tracker box now found - not in headlining
![]() The original supplier: Carrotech http://www.visionairegps.co.uk/ upon hearing of the problem immediately offered a replacement in return for the old unit. No warranty nonsense (I have no idea when it was purchased) and help via email several times during the weekend. I'm impressed with this level of service! |

Update
It was fitted in 2010. The box was delivered to the supplier today and I can see from the tracker map that the replacement is already at their local post office (running on its internal battery) waiting for collection and should be delivered back to me tomorrow. Excellent service! The problem turned out to be the fault of the mobile network - nothing wrong with the unit itself. |
