That looks great.

Thanks, I thought it already has twin water jets.
We have very little intention of driving it in the wet. My other Landrover does not go out in the rain and has not been on wet roads for years. Lots going on, We have finally got the Tub back together properly and refitted to the chassis, pop riveted all the capping back together and reassembled the tailgate (took it to bits to have the back side/capping and hinges etc. galvanised), fit the tailgate and then this meant we could fix in the seat box and get ready to try and get the old girl humming again.
I am so loving the look - its just what I wanted

Coming on great there!! I will have my fingers crossed for you too, as I know what its like after you have done a build, That 1st start really gets the old heart pumping does it not!
Just double check everything 1st, ( didn't put a hose back on when it came to top the water up ) Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Great work - looks fantastic
 . I seem to have missed this thread somehow, so really enjoyed just catching up on the whole process. You have done a brilliant job so far and it's tantalisingly close to completion now. My fuel tank had been replaced, but they never changed the neck, or tighten up anything, So I lost nearly £200 worth of diesel! money that I could have done with now or for the future! Yours will be a work of art once finished, But I think you will be sorry to see then of the project. Well, what can I say?
Firstly, it started second turn of the key, no bleeding at all. It would have started on the first turn if I held it longer. Now it starts if you just touch the key. Secondly after a bit of tinkering with the selector on the gearbox - she moves under her own stream. Today was a great day in the build.  2007 90 Puma - Love it - Best car I have ever owned.

Just caught up with this thread, really great read and a thoroughly well-executed project. Hope to do a similarly thorough rebuild of my 90 soon and this thread is very inspiring!
