Last time i was over your way in the snow i saw big 4x4s in ditches and struggling to get anywhere while locals were flying about with no trouble in little Fiats/Peugeots/Fiestas on skinny winter tyres. |

If anyone wants one, I can do a self-assembly kit at a bargain £50 + p&p, which you can finish in a colour of your choice.

Perfection? Not really, the lab forgot to put a Haute Savoie 74 registration number on your Defender. Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Oi you lot of so little taste. You lot are so lacking in the ingenuity/foresight and skill to add 3, yes 3 planks from a broken pallet to create a work of art.
Now the nearest bar to our warehouse (currently closed, ) all of 15 metres door to door, has two benches and a table made from pallets. The ceiling inside has pallets on the ceiling and outside pallets disguising an ugly concrete wall. The name of this establishment? THE PALLET BAR. Brendan. PS am now off around the industrial park to collect pallets to make some real dosh in 2018. |

Somebody please help me. Ikea, I can handle. Using pallets as furniture??
I worked with a German lady once. She moved back to Hanover and was desperate to take a large cable drum home with her to use as a table. As electricians, we couldn't see the fascination as we had been using cable drums and scaffold boards to sit on in the portakabins for years (company too tight to buy seats and tables unless it was a really big job site). |

Well, Xmas over for another year, most of our pressie buying was online, with Amazon taking a large share of our cash. Usually no problem, they use DPD or the Royal Mail primarily but this season Hermes has been taking a lot of the parcels, problem is they NEVER deliver on time, several parcels have gone missing, books have been delivered in sopping wet packaging, so returned and guess who was given the redelivery job? This time the book and another well bashed package were left outside the porch, not inside, my “safe place” luckily we found it before it rained. It seems they use “local couriers” who don’t like coming up my 1 mile drive as they could be delivering 10 parcels @40p to a housing estate in the time it takes to deliver mine. Must be costing Amazon a fortune in returns and cancellations! Why do they use them? Well I know, cost of course!
Rant over! 2010 Defender 110 Station Wagon, Santorini Black. |
