Sitting in a bar in France, watching the Fra v ABs match. It seems that you get rugby bores with verbal diarrhoea here as well Monsieur Le Grenadier

Mobility Scooters
Why does anyone driving one of these have a death wish? I got pinned against the wall by one in Homebase (other DIY shops with mobility scooters are available) Watched one speeding (you know what I mean, faster than walking pace) up a pedestrianised Road in Norwich the other day. It was only the nimbleness of the pedestrians which saved the driver from taking anyone out. Stacey007 got me thinking with his Toylander project and buying one as the donee for the power train. 6mph - 8mph is pretty fast when everyone else is walking. Please dont get me wrong. These things are a lifeline to some people but do they have any speed control or are they only on or off? Christmas. Am I allowed to complain when some shops were putting the decorations up before Halloween? Well I will anyway. |

Just how many of the riders really need them? Are some just too lazy to walk? |

Elephant racing. In general but more specifically on two lane dual carriageways. Grow up. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

How do many of the drivers on our roads pass their test, when I passed my test you had you have a knowledge of the highway code. OK you have to still have that knowledge, however recently going to a center with my granddaughter where you had to go through a digital form of the highway code and seeing a group of people who needed an interpreter to help them understand English and who had help in getting the right answers and who could not possibly read our road signs or our road laws. I left thinking no wonder our insurance is so dear. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Going out for lunch at 12.00, finishing at 18.00 and then waking up early the following morning feeling decidedly shabby. When and why did the ability to shrug off a hangover with relative ease pack its bag and move out? Ive got meetings from 10.00-17.00 today 🤮

I don't suppose any of you watched Guy Martin make a complete balls up what traffic light comes after the yellow one on the Channel Four programme where they built the replica First World War Mk4 Tank? It made me smile. He had to get a part H (?) license to drive a tracked vehicle on the road. The driving part of the test was fine. He stumbled somewhat on the oral questions after. Good programme, if anyone missed it. Worth getting on catch up if not. |

I stopped getting hangovers about 40 years ago.
Haven't the foggiest idea why or how. |

It's now far to easy each evening to spend money.
A couple of clicks and that it, cash gone. No card needed or nothing these days, the temptation is difficult to resist! Anyone else in a similar boat? No Guts, No Glory.
