So...
Visiting my grandma and her neighbour reverses into my (parked & stationary) LR, contact between the rear left wheel and rear of vehicle, probably the weakest part of the Landy... After straightening the mudflap bracket, you can barely see any damage, bar a split in the alu body where the flap bracket mounts... He insists on paying for full and proper repairs... Got quote from approved LR bodyshop... Send to his insurance... They insist on their own evaluator, which turns out to be from the same insurance company which I'm insured with... A week later the company is disputing the claim... So give them my insurance details and they are surprised it's the same company... 2 weeks later, still no settlement... I'm hoping the 2 agents are throwing their staplers and other office supplies at each other across the office Insurers are certainly turning me into a Grumpy Old Man Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. And now me Dad has told me that Ed China is leaving Wheeler Dealers
Seems to be a difference in opinion after the production was moved to an American outfit. To say I'm gutted is an understatement |

I started to watch the recent series and gave up as Brewer had started to take over and he just winds me up. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

There is a YouTube video with Ed explaining his reasons. It's awkwardly cut, but is nicely done. I too lost interest with the start of the American workshop. In fact it all started unravelling with Mike Brewers Trading Up (which didn't include Ed). Mike also started wearing his own company shirt which just looked really strange.
I wish Mike would tone down the 'barrow boy spiv' persona as when I have seen videos of him acting as Mike Brewer the man not on the telly, it was much more pleasant. Also read Aaron Kauffman has left Gas Monkey Garage so Discovery are not having a fun time of it? Who's next? They will be telling me next Mary Berry is leaving Bakeoff! |

Have always thought the world has gone mad, but today I now know it has, for having bought the new Bob Dylan album Triplicate and listening to it I discovered not those rebellious lyrics he is famed for but instead he is crooning and covering such classics, As Time Goes By, Stardust, September of my Years and about thirty other cruise ship songs, at first I thought some joker had put a Tony Bennet CD in the cover as a joke. but no Dylans gravelly voice was there except gone is the revolution, instead I think he aiming for a slot on Songs of Praise.
What next I ask myself, Johnny Rotten singing a cover version of the sound of Music. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

Or that he yearns to be a Hollywood heart throb... Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, worst bit of acting in the history of film by Dylan , though his soundtrack for the film was great For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |
