And then when you do find a french website that has the info, there is no way to actually just buy it online so you need to call them anyway

yes, my wife's excuse currently to be rampaging through Amazon UK because its 'cheap' despite my argument that if we don't need it anyway then its not cheap

The French are ten years behind the U.K. when it comes to websites. The only 'Bricolage' that has a website anything like you'll find in Blighty is, in my opinion, Leroy Merlin. . PS, they use pine for everything.... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Spent an hour or so re-waxing my Barbour yesterday, a perfect bank holiday task; (little bit of modern folk music, and a good claret as accompaniment and it is positively cathartic ). On inspection this morning after letting it dry for 24hrs I noticed I missed a patch, just a couple of cms square Monsieur Le Grenadier

had a visit onto the hard shoulder today.
if anyone knows the A38(M) into Birmingham you might know it's had a 30mph restriction for the last few months? well as I'm heading to work this morning the dash board thinks it's become a pin ball machine flashing flicking etc. then just as I drift off the Tyburn Rd to join the A38M it drops into limp mode. No big deal it's a 30mph speed limit.......wrong ! they obviously removed that last night ! . they couldn't have done that 24hrs later could? so I pulls onto the hard shoulder realising my mistake to do a re-start on the engine........all good and I'm now looking for an opportunity / gap to re-join. The perfect big gap comes along bar a single car in the left lane of two. so I'm picking up speed indicating just waiting for this single car to move over to the right.......does he heck !!!!! Bono from U2 has been awarded, Women of the year by Glamour magazine what is that all about. I tell you the world has gone mad.
If I was on a desert island with Bono and that ugly bint Theresa-may, would I choose her to cuddle up, to, no I wouldn't i would kill myself rather than have to listen to the sh*t they give out. ^^^ The more discomforting question is which one of the two would you eat first when the food ran out?
Not a nice thought, is it! Actually you wouldn't have that problem becuase you'd have already killed yourself to get away from the two of them! |

I would like to have a real grumpy grumble about the Oxford English Dictionary.
We all know every year it publishes new words, nothing wrong with that but this year it has added some American colloquialisms, I ask you American words in an English dictionary. One of the latest’s of these horrors is the word ‘Fuhgeddaboudit’ meaning ‘forget about it’. When the hell is anyone going to use that in a sentence? I thought Trump as president was bad enough but adding these poxy yank words to our dictionaries, the world has gone mad, Still I suppose I will just have to Fuhgeddaboudit . And the word of the year 'Post Truth' do not the people at OED know that's two words no wonder our country is slipping down the drain For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

I hate the modern trend with computers and laptops that have no hard drive activity indicator light.
When it appears to be doing nothing you can't tell whether the thing's working or frozen |

^ May be because most of them nowadays have no hard drive anymore, but SSD's - so no hard drive activity indicator needed? Cheers, Vincent
