Hi one and all, can anyone advise as to whether 1 litre of brake fluid should be sufficient for a routine fluid change on my 2.2 90 tdci or should I buy 2. THANKS

Hi, may I know if 1 litre was sufficient? Thank you APK

Hi APK.
One litre will be more than enough.

Agreed 1ltr is ample and as mentioned already I also frequently use a large syringe and draw old fluid directly out of the reservoir to add fresh. Doing this frequently on my cars and bikes just becomes part of my routine maintenance and is easy. Thumbs Up Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…

Do you simply open bleed nipples one caliper at a time and let gravity do the work? 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Just to confirm that is to replace entirely, not just refresh?
Thank you! APK

Yep that will be more than enough to bleed the line at each of the 4 calipers and have the reservoir full at the end.
