TD5 FPR gasket question
About 18 months ago I replaced my badly leaking FPR with one of those £40 kits off ebay, which was generally successful.

However now (after fixing another leak from the rocker cover gasket), I'm noticing a slight leak again - so I'm going to take a punt on just replacing the gasket, and if that doesn't work I'll bite the bullet and just get the full genuine FPR.

My question is, can anyone tell me what the 3 O-rings and sealing washer is for in the following gasket kit that I have just bought. I don't remember them from last time, and can't find a mention of either of them in the online guides that i followed last time.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262049972354

3 X O RINGS - STC4509
1 X WASHER SEALING - ERR6192

Cheers!
Shane.

Have a look on You Tube, there are a load of videos. Just be aware that there are two types as I think the design changed for the 15P engine.

You'll have 3 o'rings for the screw in pipe fittings. (2 for 10p or 3 for 15P). The 'fat' o'ring sits into the head.
The sealing ring is probably for the temp sensor.

Also, I've had good success rebuilding TD5 regulators using VW o'rings and used Bosch 4 bar regulators from a local breaker fitted with a new genuine LR gasket. Works out a very cheap repair with quality parts. Thumbs Up

037 198 031 O-rings
BOSCH 0280160516 (remove round filter)

Gaskets are:

MSX100080 10p
MSX000010 15p
