110 Rear discs and pads

Are these the same as the 90 or are they bigger?
I am pushing to upgrade the full works on mine, but I don't want to be buying 110 discs and pads if they are the same as the 90s, which the 90s are cheaper. I could put the extra towards stainless flexi hoses that's all. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

110s use a larger rear disc than the 90 models, it's the same non-vented disc as used on the front of 90s. The 110 rear calipers (2-piston units) are different dimensionally to suit the larger disc.

I think you're wasting your time though. You will gain nothing by putting 110 rear brakes on a 90, plus they're smaller for a reason and I don't think upsetting the brake balance as designed by Land Rover is very wise. Rear brakes do very little under most conditions anyhow.

Thanks for the info Retroanaconda, I will just upgrade the fronts to vented with replacement calipers, as I do have a brake imbalance, and put new discs and pads on the back then. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
