England 1995 Defender 110 300 Tdi HT Portofino Red
95 110 defender utility side windows?
i have a 1995 110 defender utility, basicaly a hardside van with 2 windows each side, they are not in frames they are just set in rubber seals it would appear,
problem is i have broken the drivers side rear and havnt a clue where to buy a replacement piece of glass?? any help would be greatly apreciated,, its the ones with the side windows are about the same height as door glass, not the little slit type side windows if that makes sense ha

I don't know if glass like that was ever produced in a standard size that you could buy off the shelf. However, many years ago I fitted similar windows to a Series III and I had the glass cut by a company that built coaches, so it may be worth seeing if there's a commercial vehicle body shop near to you. Darren

Go to your local glass merchant and they will cut you a piece of laminated glass to fit.

Or do it yourself with perspex and a jigsaw, depending how pretty you want it to be.
