Looks very good! Did they remove the rear floor to get full access or had you already done that?

He did the rear floor, I was suppose to have removed it and the tow bar before I got there.

Don't you mean who didn't waxoil it? Can't mention his name or company as last time he got a bit upset on here, but he's suppose to be a Land Rover specialist and thinks that the corrosion could be 'plated'. The two waxoiling treatments only cost £950 so you shouldn't expect too much I suppose |

That welding is lush. Far better than the factory finish!

I now know where I am getting my TD5's rear crossmember replaced when it needs doing later this year, that looks excellent

The pictures don't do it justice, the welding isn't just better than factory, it's better than almost all of the welding I have seen. (and I see welding nearly every day). Bob you won't regret it, just get there sooner than later so there's good metal to weld to on the chassis and it doesn't need cutting back further. |
