Heated seat switch is probably the best bet, it is a latching on/off with illumination and "on" LED.
Unfortunately I can't remember the part number but a search of the forum will reveal it. |

It's quite straightforward... Unscrew the 2 'hex' nuts holding the centre fascia panel on. Then use a plastic 'trim removal tool' (available at many places) to gently lever off the plastic trim. Once you get one corner off, there rest follows easily. ll the switches are then accessible... and they are all 'handed' with the switch plugs, i.e.: they will only fit each specific switch so don't be too daunted. I did mine, and labelled them all with masking tape!! Good luck! Enjoy! YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

It is very easy to make a custom switch by replacing the switch cover with the blank you will be taking out and engraving / drilling hole for the led. Sure there is a write up somewhere.

I've customized a few switches, rather simple if you have or know someone with a laser/co2 engraver...
