2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Santorini Black

Can anyone translate german

Morning,

Can anyone translate this trailer data plate, for reference its a twin axle box trailer.

I'm trying to understand what its tare weight is and hence capacity as I'm guessing that the 2700kg is the gross weight.

Zul. Is an abbreviation of zulässige which means permissible so

Zul. Stützlast is the maximum nose weight

Zul. Gesamtmasse is maximum gross weight.

Bis means to. So the literal translation is max gross weight 1400 to
2700kg

Which isn't much help I suppose

I can't imagine a box trailer weighing 1400kg empty however. If that is the case though it has a 1300kg capacity.

Unless that is the actual hitch rating. I'm which case the loading data will be another plate on the trailer. 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Ah just spotted Auflaufeinrichtung at the top of the plate. This is overrun hitch type. So this is the hitch plate with the maximum loading of the hitch itself not the trailer

That's more than I understood when I posted.

I did wonder if the 1400kg was tare and 2700kg was gross, however 1400kg seemed to be heavy for an empty trailer. Keith

Yes 1400kg is a bit heavy for an empty box trailer! This is the hitch rating and not the trailer itself. I just googled the hitch code and it's a Knott hitch so there should be another plate on the trailer giving the actual trailer weights

You can just take a photo using the translate app and it will do the rest!

I've found the trailer plate rather than the overun hitch plate now.

My understanding is that the empty trailer weight is 1350kg and the gross weight would be 2700kg. Seems to be consistent with the hitch rating.

If I've misunderstood any of this then please feel free to correct me.

It would be the permitted axle loading's, 1350 kg's per axle, giving a gross axle weight of 2700 kg's NormanD WE191

Is there a way to find the tare weight then?

I understood that this should be stamped on the trailer plate as well.
