It could be the park switch.
But first lube the spindles and give the arms a little push whilst switched on $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Probably the spindles as said above, if you're lucky you might be able to oil them to get them working. If not get ready for cursing.

Use a bit of s longer lasting oil in there too shortly, as the WD40 will dry up but is good for freeing them up. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

I had the same issue and the relief was great when good ol WD40 solved it ... BUT, I continued to repeat the process of running the wipers (pulled away from screen) and squirting liberally for a few minutes on the splines for at least 4 days to make sure the oil got down good and deep and did it s job. Each time some rusty residue came out of the splines.
Besides, i love the smell of WD40 |
