Seems to have made it into a Series I now and increased the value from 35k to £80k 🤔

This:

... is infinitely better than this:

Apart from wrecking an otherwise mint non-dished deluxe bonnet, at least most of the other changes can be reversed!

'Man goes shopping with daughter'. You can't half tell the papers are struggling to find anything to fill the pages at present.

What next? 'Woman puts dustbin out'.

I'm pleased Sir David has got a nice Land Rover, but it's hardly worth all those column inches.

Perhaps the vendor saw who was coming to buy it and gave the price a hike.

Principally because the front grille is missing the two little rings/hoops along the top edge, to the left and right hand side that can be clearly seen on the original version but not on this new one. The grille could have been changed, or the little hoops cut off, but I'm not sure why you'd bother. I'm wondering if many of the 'similarities' such as the chrome bonnet hinges and later model wing mirrors are there because it's the same person who renovated and supplied them, rather than being the same car. And if I wanted to be a pedant, I could say the patina of the Bumper is diffferent (although could have been cleaned up) and the wipers sit differently (could have been adjusted). But I can't understand why you'd change that little detail on the grille. Number plate or someone very clever on this forum will no doubt clarify this observation. Whistle

The report shows the date of 2017 ? Yet I know the man who built this car for the Beckhams recently.
