Left pull while braking
I've noticed during braking that my puma is pulling to the left slightly and gets worse as I apply more pressure to the pedal. It has only become noticeable as I was holding the wheel very lightly whilst coming up to a junction. Slight pull to the right under normal driving conditions as well.

Tyre pressures are even on both sides, so I don't think it'll be that. Any ideas as to where to I should be looking?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Will probably be a brake caliper sticking. Chances are the right one is partially seized up, so its dragging on the disc when you release the brakes and when you apply them the left hand one is doing all the work.

I had the same on mine, i put a couple of new AP callipers on it, problem cured. Sold the old ones on ebay for someone else to refurb. I think the new Callipers where about £80 each and i sold my old ones for £60 a pair.

You can get new pistons and seals for them, and rebuild them yourself, but for me it was quicker to just change the callipers as i needed the car off the road for the least time possible.

Britpart do callipers for about £40 each, no idea what they're like.

I thought it might have been something like that 😕

Do you happen to have part numbers? Preferably for the standard vented calipers.

Might as well do the discs and pads while I'm at it.

Cheers

I did the pads too, if ones been sticking then chances are they're worn unevenly.

The discs are quite a big job on a Defender compared to more modern cars so if there's nothing wrong with them they're best left.
