Central locking issue - 110 n/s/r door
Hi folks, my nsr door on the 110 will lock on CL but not unlock, I fiteed a new actuator at weekend and this hasn't helped.

The door pin moves upwards when unlocked but not all the way, can anyone suggest what may fix this? Thanks

It's likely to be either wear or resistance in the linkage or the lock itself. As a first step, I'd give the lock a good blast of your favourite aerosol lubricant, work it in a bit and see if that cures it. Darren

Have a look at http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52876.html My problem was on a front door but the mechanisms are similar.

Thanks John, that looks about right what I need, is that just a bit of elastic rope, trying to think where I can get some from.

Make sure that the actuator is adjusted properly.
So that the solenoid can operate through its full range when locking/unlocking.
