They are probably discovery 1 pads ( early / mid 1990's, ) maybe take one out and go and compare at Halfords or a friendly motor accessory shop ? 1984 300TDi hardtop Stornoway Grey

The notion of Halfords having brake pads in stock amuses me!
![]() I believe that 90 and discovery rear calipers take the same pad type. To be safe whip the wheel off and have a look. They should be held in with two large split pins and two spring clips which stop them rattling. They will also have a tab which sticks out of the top. Make sure you get the non abs version if ordering for discovery as you wont need the wear sensor.
