TDI300 Turbo check and questions
Hi Forum,

delivering some TLC to the landy and before i start re-assy need some experience in regards to turbo.

in the vacuum unit for the Waste gate i notice quite a bit of oil and 'soot' in the pipe leading to the intercooler (video of the turbo if you can take a look and see if there are issue)

A small bit of lateral play is fine, if you have excessive movements vertically then this indicates wear, oil will be on the inlet but nothing excessive should be there.

Boost pressure was ok , mech checked this

what pressure is acceptable?

There is some vertical movement but not too much - but that being said i am not sure how much is ok
