Hi Forum,
delivering some TLC to the landy and before i start re-assy need some experience in regards to turbo. in the vacuum unit for the Waste gate i notice quite a bit of oil and 'soot' in the pipe leading to the intercooler (video of the turbo if you can take a look and see if there are issue) ![]() Click image to enlarge Video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHwFZOSCdwA |

A small bit of lateral play is fine, if you have excessive movements vertically then this indicates wear, oil will be on the inlet but nothing excessive should be there.
How was the turbo prior to the strip down? Small amount side to side is fine, needs to be none back and forth
