I purchased from Dabonwheels and roof mounted. It's a bee sting type and I have to unscrew the mast occasionally to get under barriers, but no big deal. I live central belt of Scotland and signal is good.

I have the small Halfords magmount one which holds firmly on the box section of a Brownchurch roof rack (Overhanging trees excepted). Reception has been good everywhere from North London out to Essex, Oxfordshire and down to West Wales and Devon. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.

This is mine I had fitted in the UK. They said the roof would have been a better location but as I had a roof rack that wasn't possible. DAB seemed to work fine in the UK but here in France we have no DAB outside of the largest cities. It works fine as an FM aerial however I rarely use it. I always use Apple CarPlay and Tunein radio to get UK stations in my cars here in southern France. I think it looks pretty good though.

Has anyone tried the adapters that let the standard aerial double up as a DAB one? 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I used the cheap ebay window mount type, around 12 quid I seem to remember. I mounted it in the center of the window at the bottom where the dash joins, using the dash mount as an earthing point. Barely noticeable and works very well so far.

New Stereo fitted CDE136BT with a cheap DAB on wheels FM Ariel converter... DAB works quiet well...Would happily recommend it... I'm northern/central belt Scotland... So if it works here... Should work anyway.

Has anybody tried one of these? Mulling over mounting on an Alpine window so that it doesn't get impacted by the heated screen elements. Keith
