Tyre pressure???
Hi, I'm sure this is a question that has been covered many times over but I've been left confused after advice from different sources.

I have a defender 130 crew cab HCPU on BFG 265/75 all terrain tyres. It's loaded up with tools continuously but I would say no more than 3/400kg. I read in manual that tyres should be at 45psi on fronts and 65psi on read. I've since heard that is far too much. More like 30psi front and 35psi rear.

What should it be??? Anyone help?

Kuwait 2000 Defender 130 Td5 HCPU Nato Green No Canopy
When i swap away from stock, i go 10% less than max pressure when tires are hot.

IE, General Grappler have a max pressure of 51psi, i inflate to 40psi, then drive for 20-40km and then adjust the pressure to 44psi/3bar while they are hot. This way if i load up or drive on terrain that heats up the tire, i still have a margin before i start to flirt with the max capacity of the tire.

I also use 100% Nitrogen all the time... Its a waste the first time, as i need to vacuum the air out, fill, let it sit over night with the valve on the bottom, and repeat the next day. Oxygen is heavier than Nitrogen, and Nitrogen is a more stable gas than Oxygen.
