I don't own a dog, so this is a tribute to my parents' dog, Nishu, who was put to sleep yesterday. Wonderful young man with a huge personality. Part Gun-dog (father's side) part Spanish beach-bar dog (Mother's side). Loved by all who met him. He suffered from liver failure, fortunately diagnosed by my father (a doctor) 18mths ago, so he had a little more time with them than might otherwise have been expected, but over the weekend he succumbed to acute failure and was put to sleep yesterday. My parents are bereft, no less so because the liver failure was suspected to have been caused by deliberate poisoning. Who would do such a thing? Anyhow, despite never having got into a Defender, he led an amazing life, if cut needlessly short. We all loved you Nishu.

/\ Sorry to hear Grenadier
You can only hope it was accidental as they do like to eat everything so could have picked something not meant for him up, doesnt make it any better though |
