I'll say this quietly.........Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series
Interesting they are planning to release in the USA as there is a demand for it. It's only euro 5, but you can import - you'd also have to get the 4.2 turbo diesel. We had one with us in Morrocco and dare I say it, as a package it was better than my Defender. I'd have one (keep the Defender though). Click image to enlarge Thanks Ian |

M Sport Ford Ranger.
...or a Ranger with bits of plastic nailed to it. Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

I can't believe that you would sell a Defender and buy any of those vehicles for me it would be back to the future.

Whilst no direct news on the new defender, it's worthwhile to hear the latest public comments from Speth:
"With the amount of land we have, we could theoretically bring our three British production plants to Slovakia, but we don't want to shift any production. We have quite a high capacity utilization in the U.K., and we want to maintain that." http://www.autonews.com/article/20161205/O...-ev-demand |
