Hi,
Just got back my repaired 110 (the right back corner was hit several months ago). All looked fine at the repairers on collecting, however, after putting my spare tyre back on (it was off while the vehicle was being repaired), the back door doesn't close quite right. The bottom left corner sticks out a bit and is difficult to shut. It is also difficult to reopen (almost a suction like feeling) and the added pressure is impacting on the rubber seal (in the same lower corner area). While I could always take it back to the repairer (a long wait), I'm wondering whether this is the sort of thing that can be adjusted by me or LR (the door hinges?). Alternatively, I could just buy a spare wheel carrier to take the pressure off the door (I've been thinking of getting one anyway). Any comments? Do you think a simple adjustment to the door hinges, to bring it into alignment, might be the solution? Cheers, Rick. 1998 RR HSE 2007 RRS TDV6 2008 Defender 110 2015 Discovery Sport |

Being a bit of a pain I would get your issue raised in writing as well...
