Intercooler mounting boss - correct fitment
Had a Grrr -moment today.
Noticed that when a garage had refitted my intercooler on my 2.4 90 that the upper mounting pins were just hovering inside the eyes that are connected to the wing. Thought that there must be a mounting rubber missing.
Dug around in the engine bay and found a suspect jammed down one edge.
Can anyone confirm if this is the missing part? If it is, can you also advise how best to drop the intercooler enough to put the rubber bush back on: I'd prefer not to have to take the slam panel out if possible.
If it isn't then the things missing from somewhere else so would welcome any advice as to what it is - it looks like a "radiator mounting bush PCG100330" but I'm not sure if the title is a misnomer and its actually from the radiator.

Yes, that is correct. That rubber bush should fit there. I think if you remove the top part of the fan cowling, you can get to the bracket screws. Then lift the bracket up, insert the bush and re fit tge bracket and cowl.1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
