I've just heard that the Dunsfold Open Weekend is to return in 2017, on June 10th and 11th.
The only place to go if you like your Land Rovers rare, quirky or unique. Can't wait! Oh that is quite annoying. I have not done one of these for years. I wanted to go with the Defender or the Lightweight to this next one. However I am very much committed elsewhere that weekend as I will be in Perthshire for the Cateran Yomp.

Will be there both days as usual.
It will be interesting to see what has changed, now that a commercial operation has taken over its organisation for the first time. It has certainly changed from its early days on the small field behind Phil's premises. Think I preferred it then. |

I know what you mean. I first went in 2001 and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. I also enjoyed wandering around the hinterland behind the Dunsfold workshops where all sorts of strange machinery lurked. Camping facilities were a bit basic though

Looks like decent dry partly sunny weather is shaping up for this Dunsfold weekend.
But then I heard that "wellies" are still part of the recommended attire. Wellies?
