Scotland 2002 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Baltic Blue
Scottish Land Rover Show
Will anyone from south of the border be planning a trip up?

27th/28th May at Ingliston Edinburgh

Supposed to be much bigger than last year, and to be fair, last year was pretty decent Thumbs Up

I'll be there.

Just debating whether I will go to the effort of registering for the auto jumble and selling my collars or not....

I have 100 or so ready to go, with another 100 partially finished.

Cheers
Andy

I am up near Falkirk on the Friday so planning to go to the show on the Saturday.
The main reason I am going is that I want some new seats and am hoping to be able to try a few different ones to see which I can fit in comfortably, looking at exmoor elite or LRI low base seats.

Apparently there is an off road course of some sort planned for this year.

Unfortunately I'm working so it doesn't look like I'll get there.

And just to warn everyone, some unfortunate s*d had his Defender stolen from the allocated camping ground last year, so be safe!

Tickets booked, still to decide on which day, like Mikey says, depends on the weather. Don't really want to go on Sunday, last year some of the traders started packing up at lunchtime...

Any of the "northern" site sponsors coming North, I wonder? Current Steeds:
2015 110 UW in Grasmere Green

2000 Elise
1992 Ducati 888 (no longer in bits, yahoo)
1990 TDR 250 (in bits again)
1988 TDR 250 (no longer in bits) and for sale

Interesting to note no Bearmach/Britpart/Allmakes present Confused

At this point, I was supposed to have my Defender on a new chassis, new doors and painted, as well as the TDV8 fitted into my Disco 3, ready for this show...

There's always next year I guess Laughing

If you bring that Mauritius Blue Evoque with you, we may end up spending a whole lot more than hoped Laughing

Ho Hum - looks like we are going to the Scottish Land Rover Show on a low key sort of basis with fewer staff and trailers. Brendan obviously didn't take my lack of enthusiasm seriously. So, if anyone wants anything in particular, you better get your requests in before we leave. I suppose the upside is we might get to see some of our Scottish customers John O'Mara Mark Saddler that we haven't seen for a while.

Going to be a long drive up north and a long weekend. If any of our Scottish customers feel like giving us a hand for a few minutes in exchange for tea/beer/cake etc you will be more then welcome

Brendan
