Cleaning Crud out above rear crossmember
The rear fog light was not working so took it out to check the bulb and was surprised how much crud there was in there a goo cm of so caked up behind the light. Does anyone have any tips on how to clear this out all the way along as I assume it is caked all the way across the back.

Thanks

Adam

Other than getting in there with a screwdriver and a pressure washer whilst getting very wet I don't think that there are many other options. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

I have cut down a couple of old rubber floor mats and attached them at the top of there going all the way down to the bottom of the cross member, reduces the crud significantly. Thumbs Up 2015 RRS Autobiography SDV6

On our 110 there is a plastic trim that can be removed from under the gaurd.
This gives access to the fog light plinth nuts and the wireing.

I've fitted a locker in the LH void and there are water tanks that fitt there too.
By doing this access is not possible except by removing the lights.
To allow this I converted the reverse light plinth from rear nuts to Nutserts.
I've also converted my fog lamp to a reverse but not sure this would meet your MOD requirements. Cheers,
Kyle.
