Its not technically doing the job it was bought for but certainly helped pull my mate out the sticky stuff!
Pulled not a problem and certainly got some strange looks! Click image to enlarge Some more photos of it earning its keep! Pulls like a beauty and it isn't exactly a light trailer - Had a 6 door carlton Limo on there not a problem This one was collecting a mates BMW which had catastrophic turbo failure! Click image to enlarge Collecting a Pre-raced Capri (Banger) ready to race another day! Click image to enlarge This job certainly needed the landy pulling two Scirroco's out of a barn which had been sat there for about 10 years! one had a big twin axle farm trailer in front which aint been moved for years and the land moved it not a problem and the other needed dragging through a gap no wider than the landy as the brakes were stuck on! Click image to enlarge Last one is taking a 240 estate up to Buxton Raceway for a drift day up and over the cat and fiddle not a problem although it probably peed quite a few motorcyclists off! One of the best looking police Defender liveries, in my opinion:

A Defender with some patina belonging to the Albanian border police. I photographed this at Hani i Hotit, border post between Albania and Montenegro.

In Italy some of these were fitted with a 2 Liters Petrol Rover engine. Drivers said that it was not a very good idea ! Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW SE Defender 90 300 Tdi SW with TD5 body Land 90 V8 HT |
