Getting back to Wolf Boxes, bought mine from APB Trading at Peterborough Show and am very pleased with the quality.

Rashers,

I can't agree more. As initially stated I got my Hi-Lid ones from APB and the quality was what I would have expected.

What I was trying to do with this thread was to highlight that just because it is called a "wolf' box it doesn't mean that the quality of box you receive is what it should be....if you understand what I am trying to say. The one I bought from the other company didn't even state that it was 'wold box style, but inferred it was genuine by saying it IS a wolf box!

APB and the other company I bought from both state they are a 'wolf' box, but the difference in thickness, quality of plastic, rigidity and finish were so different between each companies' that they could never have come from the same factory nor could they have even come from the same design pattern.

It's a bit like the problem we have in buying Genuine, OEM and then stuff that comes in blue packages. Just because it is OEM does not mean it will be anything like what the genuine one is! At least with the Blue Packaged Stuff you get a good idea Whistle

Im rambling on a bit now, but it is a shame there isn't some sort of section/forum where you can find out the best and worst of a particular part/item/etc... It would have certainly saved me a small fortune over the years. I suppose you live and learn!!!
