Hi there,
I am not saying this is the best way but is a way you could check if you having any leaks which could cause higher pressures/temperatures http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-block-...1059430832 Steve |

Hi Okan,
Could you summarise what happens when overheating? For example is the coolant blowing out the reservoir cap, or the temperature guage is going into the red and or maybe going into limp mode? Also, does this only happen at higher speeds like on a motorway, up hills or at all speeds and even on flat roads? Regards, Steve |

Hi!
When weather is hot like 30c or more. On motorway only at higher speeds particulary up hills, the car is going to limp mod. I didn't see boiling coolant going out the reservoir cap because there is no red liquid near the coolant bowl. Regards |

Hi
Has someone tried to install the revotec electric fan for TDCI to resolve the overheating problem? What feedback could you have about it? Regards |

Regards[/quote] High 40C towing getting cylinder head temperature sender ( on the ultra Gauge) above 100C and no limp home mode ! I would say you have some defect in the system. Mud in the radiator or something that is reducing efficiency like corroded radiator fins. Whilst remap equals more power it produces more heat this does need too be mitigated if used for extended period of time. Not just a quick blast down the road, however 82C thermostat is a good start and other things such as decat, centre box removal. |

I should have said that fans of any type ( engine driven or electric ) do nothing once a car is up too any kind of speed. Once the radiator is saturated with airflow it's at its limit. Over here you can drive in any temp without a fan, just don't stop or go slow! the fan fitted by land rover is better than any electric , fit for purpose!

Hi!
Thanks for your help! In my case I allready have biger intercooler from Alive. Remap is a stage 2 and I have a decat exhaust , smaller mid silencer and straight rear pipe. In my case I supect some mud in the intercooler and radiator because it's realy difficult to access them to wash it correctly. With this I will install the 82c thermostat and maybe the fan spacer I saw on this forum. But before that I need to change complete coolant and reservoir cap. I m looking for the procedure to make this job correctly. Best regards |
