Rubber grommets for safari snorkel holes
Hi,

Going to remove my safari snorkel soon and I believe there will be some holes in the wing to fill, I was going to use rubber grommets but would love to know what size to get before I do it! HELP please!!

I did the same; as the holes have rivnuts I just put the bolts back in, with some copper slip to stop corrosion, and have left then in. Wth all the rivets and spot welds dents, it doesn't look too bad. Will get a photo when it's not dark!

Hi,
Did you remove it via the wheel arch? Also what is all this about drain valves?

Sorry for the delay; mine is an OE RAI so attached using 2 rivnuts in the wing above the air vent, so could be removed from the front. I have left the rovnuts in for now, as I need to get the wing resprayed where the RAI has rubbed the paints and primer down to bare metal! Sad

Drain holes? Probably some in the air Box? Out of interest, when I removed the RAI the bottom of it was full of water!
