wire loom & socket under middle seat?
I have a 99 TD5 csw that i'm about to put heated sports seats into.It has a middle seat that the previous owner put in. On removing it i see a wiring loom with a plug socket(currently unplugged with nowhere obvious to go)underneath the middle seat. Looks like a factory loom.......there was a cubby box there previous which i have but it doesn't have any obvious hole or accessory in it that may have used this plug.Any idea what it was for ? Could this be used to power heated seats?

As said, it is the OBD socket.

Best if you make it harder to access by hiding under the cubby anyway as it can be used to bypass alarm/immobiliser by theves!
