2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Alpine White
diesel filter location, filling port for transfer case/gearb
Can someone tell me the exact location of the fuel filter, please!!!
Would love to change it ........bought my 08 puma 110 new from my local dealer & I think its about time to change it!
Also, would love to change the oil for the transfer case & gear box too!
After reading the owner's handbook & going underneath my 110...........changing the front & rear diff oil were done without any drama Mr. Green
However.......when I looked at the transfer case & gear box........I had doubt about the fill up port & drain port for them....so would love to ask for advices from the buddies here Cool
As for the fuel filter.......I have no idea where it is ......or how does it look!
My puma 110 is my 1st diesel vechicle..........loved it as its RAW & almost timeless & also reminded me the time I had served with the British Army during the 90s when I was in the UK........it also had so many problems / leaks as my lotus....too Rolling with laughter
THX for all advices!!!!

on a rt hand drive vehicle you access it from the rear offside wheel looking forward. there is a small turning clip which needs to be released then it ll come out. it looks like an oil filter. have a look and if still cant see it i ll do a pic for you tomorrow

I know it is fun, but why do you want to change the gearbox oil? and just curious, what type of oil? Puma 110" SW

The fuel filter is on the same side as the filler.

Look for the odd shape box to the right on the wheel on the chassis - its behind that

As for servicing, this is the time sheet:

Well given you can remove the floor and that particular seatbox section equally the same...yes...but its not really something you do at a service no. Mike
