Reduced Height Suspension ...
I've done a few searches on here and the internet but i'm not getting any where .
I've just measured the distance from tyre to arch and the rear is 6 inch and the front is 4 1/2 inches i'm positive it has some sort of lift on it but not sure what ..
I'm wanting to lower it from standard height maybe 1 or 2 inch but all links from google search fail.
I have a 1994 300 tdi 90 and also do i need to change shocks as well ....

Cheers ..

Have a ganders here, they measure slightly differently but it has the standard distances in which you can compare with. http://www.gwynlewis4x4.co.uk/wp-content/u...rments.pdf

measuring tyre to arch isnt a great way to determine a lift. you are introducing many more factors than needed.

just get underneath and measure the length of the actual spring. this will at least give you the compressed spring length. Better again would be to unload the wheel being measured with a jack on the opposite side. This would give you the "free" length which is what you will see when buying new springs.
