Mud trap - inside wheel arch lip
Morning all,

My 110 has 285/75/16's on mods plus the extended wheel arches. The problem I always find is that the inside wheel arch panel lip is exposed to the elements and is a sand/stone/mud trap and was curious if anyone had done something about that?

I was thinking of external Window Door Excluder Seal Strip to fit under the lip and is a low cost interim solution and am open to any other ideas for you lot Bow down

Thanks

Steve

How about some of this to "clip" over the lip? I used this on my Freelander 2 to replace the original stuff on the wheel arches which had corroded badly, I squirted a load of Dinitrol into the cavity in the seal first to help reduce any further corrosion of the metal lip.

Thanks Clive, that looks like a much better idea Thumbs Up

I will fit this after the 110 has had its Dinitrol treatment with Zagato which is in a few weeks and let you all see the photo results.

Got to love this forum Bow down
