Does anyone know of an alternative to the 2002 facelift model rear door card?
The existing plastic door card isn't useful for mounting shelves or other equipment on but does cover the wiper motor and central locking actuator. I'm thinking metal plate, does anyone produce something commercially or do I need to get my tape measure out? Sandy |

I decided to just get some 3/16ths aluminum and cut to fit. Wrapped it in vinyl. Really strenghtened the rrear door cost $50 in total (that's like £20) and about an hour of work. You can attach aynthing to it.

Looks good.
Is that a 300tdi though? The O/P has a TD5 and it doesn't have the plastic covers for the wiper motor/lock etc. Although l guess you could fit some from a earlier model? |

Thanks. Its a Td5 and the plastic bits are easily sourced. Had the alu cut to match the door card then got it home and used a jigsaw to cut the rest. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

I fitted one of these https://www.devon4x4.com/d44-defender-rear-door-protector.html over the top of the standard door card (mine is a post '02 defender TD5, not a TDCI but it's the essentially the same door anyway). I then fitted a drop down shelf for cooking etc to this. Works very well.
