Hello,
Im wanting to install a solar panel on the roof of the Defender and looking around on all the 4x4 accessory websites solar panels are so so so expensive! Upward of £400!! A quick google and I found this.... http://www.beamled.com/150w-silver-solar-p...oller.html at £190 including the solar regulator it seams like it will do the job... no?? I read a caravanning article about solar panels linked from this forum and the writer came to the conclusion that theres no need to worry about any particular type of cell... mono, polly etc. Im hoping some of you might have some experience of these? What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance Ross |

I have for a long time suspected that anything can be sold for a lot more money just by putting 4x4 on or near it.
I imagine the cheap eBay one will be fine Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

I'd be on Aliexpress personally. It's all coming from the same factory...
