Did not manage to get a Provent (due to cost), but reading all the hassles people have had installing them, getting the Roo Systems one for half the price appears to have been the better option.
Family in Australia have been using them on their Toyotas for years with no ill affects. The most shocking thing was the amount of oil that was in the original pipe and I'm sure that cannot be too good for the turbo in the long run. It was supplied with a bracket which I mounted to the turbo actuator motor and upgraded the bolts. Trial and error was the key to fitting a Provent 200. I was fortunate enough to get one from the forum at a cheap price and liked the two inbuilt safety pressure relief valves. Again mine is fitted in exactly the same place on my XS but attached to the air conditioning pipe with a 'p' clip and stainless steel bracket. It is indeed surprising how much oil migrates into the filter inlet pipe which the filter prevents any associated issues due to carbon build up.

I missed that special by minutes
That was exactly where I was wanting to mount mine (seeing your previous thread), but walk into any shop here in Maun and ask for a 'p' clip. You get looks like you just asked them to kill the president The one advantage I've noticed is that the catch can is now lower than the PVC(?) outlet, so oil cannot trickle back into the engine.
