Hi Keith
Take a look at Devon 4x4, part number D44DNOWS 5mm steel incl double reinforced recovery eyes, very good quality, much better than original Land Rover part. |

Has anybody tried fitting the nudge bar on to a Devon bumper?
I came across TP 4x4 who have an electro plated and powder coated bumper that should accept the genuine Landrover nudge bar but not a company I have come across before. Anyone have any experience of the RS Bumper? Thanks Keith |

Hi Keith,
Have a look at First Four. They provide numerous 'heavy duty options' both galvanised and powder coated. Not cheap but cheaper than some. I have had one of their bumpers fitted for a number of years and the finish stands up well to the test of time. A-Bars do fit with them and they do a heavy duty standard looking one too. If you prefer galvanised the D4X4 ones are 'zinc washed' not galvanised but either way their longevity is proven. https://www.firstfour.co.uk/products/non-w...ty-bumpers Click image to enlarge If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! If you like the standard look, why not buy a galvanised standard bumper and have it power coated? 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

I don't think you will get a better bumper than the D44 one. Not to flash and very well made!
The red 90 used in the pic on thier website is my defender!! |

Martin - I hadn't considered that option. I think it's now a choice between that and the firstfour one as I want to keep the nudge bar.
Thanks Keith Keith |

I have always bought paddocks galvanised ones £35 or so, and etch primed then satin blacked them. One of them is over 15 years old and perfect still
