Bluest Member Since: 23 Apr 2016 Location: Lancashire Posts: 4216	Help! Yet another 2.4 Puma not starting The honeymoon is over. I know there are a million threads like this but my symptoms seem to be different. Turn over on the starter no problem, but no sign of firing. Dash lights etc. all appear normal. Temp gauge on cold. I'm off to check fuses and relays now, but can anyone else offer any suggestions to get the old girl going.

Don't really know what I'm looking at with the relays, there seems to be a lot of them and no means of identifying them. I disconnected the battery for a bit and reconnected, still same.

Have you tried locking it, setting the alarm, and then trying again? I've had issues with the immobiliser before that have been fixed by turning the alarm on and off.

I did leave battery disconnected for about 10mins to no avail either. A chap on Angry Puma's Facebook group is holefully going to help me out with his Lynx diagnostic tool tomorrow, hopefully that will shed some light on the situation. I'm sort of thinking its alarm/immobiliser related but I don't really know why.
