Wing air intake and heater head unit
I noticed by pure accident that I found I could insert my fingers where the 2 boxes marry on the engine side and underneath even though the foam gasket was present. I asked Hatfield's Shrewsbury to look into this under warranty and the intake box was replaced but with the same end result.... Hatfield's checked 4 other newish Defenders they had and they were all the same....I have had water ingress issues on the passenger side from new which they have been unable to resolve and wondered whether this could be the source of my problem..... Anyone else experienced the same...
I have raised this concern with L/R customer service...
